In addition to the runway modeling events shown in the past couple of posts (Coco Models at the Anokhi Fashion Show and Coco Models Featured in the Youth in Asia Fashion Show), Coco Model Management is also very active in the world of magazines, television, print ads, and even movies.

Part of gaining success in the modeling business is simply networking and getting your face and name in front of the people that can take your career to new heights.  That’s why Coco Models was the main sponsor of the hit Bollywood indie film entitled “Road, Movie”.

Road, Movie is a feature film made by the acclaimed Indian director Dev Benegal.  In addition to receiving rave reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film was called “the next Slumdog Millionaire” by many critics.

We at Coco Models are thrilled to have been a part of this momentous film, and wish Dev and his crew the best with their future projects.

Coco Models at the Youth In Asia Fashion Show

Fashion show organizers and designers are in love with Coco Models!

With tons of runway talent, the requests to use our models for high profile fashion shows just keep pouring in.  As was posted earlier, Coco Models will supply the models for the upcoming Anokhi Gala Fashion Show.  Read more about Coco Models at the Anokhi show.

To show off a little bit more of our fabulous models’ talents, we wanted to show the world some of our “archive” footage of a past roaring success: the Youth in Asia Fashion Show.

The Youth in Asia Fashion Show featured some of our hottest models wearing some amazing threads created by some incredibly talented designers.

As was noted in the Coco Model Events Press Room, Coco Models Blog, and Coco Models MySpace page, Coco Models will be supplying the model talent for the 2010 Anokhi Gala fashion show in February 2010.

For everyone who is not familiar with the Anokhi Gala, it is a fabulous gala event held in Toronto that features some of the most dynamic and inspiring personalities contributing to South Asian culture today.

Last year’s gala featured Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto as the headlining speaker and special guest.  Other international personalities that have been featured at past Anokhi Galas include Lisa Ray, John Abraham, and Saira Mohan, fashion designers Alia Khan, Payal Singhal, Prriya & Chintan, and musical artists Swami, JoSH, Raghav, and Karen David.
